This scenery is for Dijon-Longvic AB (Base aérienne 102 Dijon), France. Many improvements, and some fictional enhancements, were made based upon Google Earth © imagery and online information for LFSD.
Dijon-Longvic Air Base was one of the oldest in France, beginning in September 1910 as a civilian aerodrome.
These changes include:
• Removing incorrect taxiways.
• Revamping/resizing paved ramp areas and taxiways.
• Adding parking spots on the main and general aviation ramps.
• Adding buildings, hangars, fire station, support equipment, parking, static vehicles (aircraft, cars, trucks, boats in the canal), and landscaping.
• The mid-field ramp has 24 different T-28s parked for display (fly-in).
