FAGG George Airport

FAGG George Airport

George Airport (FAGG) was built in 1977 as an exact replica of Keetmanshoop Airport in Namibia. It is a relatively small but busy and efficient enterprise. George Airport is situated 7.8 Km (4.8 Mi) from the town of George which is a city in South Africa’s Western Cape province.

The city is situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the Garden Route on a 10-kilometer plateau between the Outeniqua Mountains to the north and the Indian Ocean to the south. The city is a popular holiday and conference center and the administrative and commercial hub of the Garden Route.
