Payware Red Wing L-1049G Super Constellation is needed.
This repaint shows Willair International Lockheed L-1649A Starliner N8081H with c/n 1026 in its famous paint scheme of 1968. Delivered in 1958 to Trans World Airlines (TWA)
as N8081H. Was sold to California Airmotive Corp. in 1967 and converted to a freighter. Willair International sold it in August 1968.
Only weeks later, on Sep 28, 1968, N8081H crashed in Stockton, CA, The crew was completing a local training flight. On final, the crew failed to realize his altitude was too low when the right main gear struck a blast pad located 102 feet short of the runway threshold and was torn off. The airplane partially belly landed and slid for dozen yards before coming to rest. While all 11 occupants escaped uninjured, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair. Finally scrapped 1969.
