This repaint shows deHavilland DH 104-2B D-IKUR in its current polished aluminium paint scheme. Built 1950 to Airwork Ltd as G-AMEI and was used as demonstrator. Was sold to Alexandrine de Rothschild in 1951 with HB-LAR, based in Samedan/Switzerland. Was sold to Germany in 1978 and was used in the famous german movie “Theo gegen den Rest der Welt” with actor Marius Müller Westernhagen in 1980.
In 1986, a private owner in Berlin bought the aircraft and founded the “Mistral-Airline”. Since 1999, the aircraft has been privately owned by Ingo Wassermann. Aircraft is based at EDLZ Soest/Germany.
