Set on a large natural mound, Launceston Castle dominates the surrounding landscape. Begun soon after the Norman Conquest, todays remains consist of a 13th-century round tower built by Richard, Earl of Cornwall, inside an earlier circular shell-keep. It is a very windy place and probably not too pleasant to stay at at that time.
The default scenery places a round multi-story building at the site of the castle. The add-on replaces it with the tower and the shell-keep and adds the remains of two gate houses. This new version does not add any further buildings or remains but updates the way, materials, textures and terra forming rectangles are treated. The tower is now illuminated at night.
