HiFi Simulations has released an open beta of its new ActiveSky XP12 weather add-on to bring custom, historical snapshot, historical playback and real-time enhanced weather capabilities to the X-Plane 12 platform as well as the legacy XP11 platform. The full integration with X-Plane 12 provides new weather transition smoothing, enhanced cloud and visibility depiction, new lighting, and an overall much-improved visual weather experience based on ActiveSky’s weather networking system. The upgrade is free to existing users of ASXP.
