Repaint of payware Indiafoxtecho Rutan Model 61 Long-EZ.
This repaint shows famous Model 61 Long-EZ HB-YCT built and owned by Hans-Georg Schmid, Fischbach-Göslikon, Switzerland, c/n 1759L. The aircraft was added to the collection of Swiss House of Transport in Lucerne on October 15th 2022 after flying for 18 years as C-GVHH. The builder and pilot Hans Georg Schmid (1948-2007), a former Swissair Captain, holds more than 160 world records, among others a double circumnavigation within 60 days in this Long-EZ. Hans Georg Schmid’s homebuilt aircraft is thus an important witness to Swiss aviation history.
