During the 1930’s, the City Council of Pretoria decided to build a landing strip on the farm Wonderboom, approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) north of Pretoria. This was the beginning of Wonderboom Airport (FAWB) and the landing strip was open for air traffic in 1937. Over the years, the airports have been extensively upgraded and the runway lengthened to handle bigger aircraft. More upgrades are planned to include scheduled passenger services to and from the airport.
This airport package has been created with as much detail as it was possible without making it impossible to fly in and out of. This airport is so true to life, it is like being there! For those who have been to Wonderboom airport before, will immediately recognize the airport layout. Everything is where it is supposed to be from the buildings to the sign boards; even the advertising boards scattered around the and side of the airport!

Since we have decided to discontinue development of airport scenery for Prepar3D (P3D), we are now making this package available to the community. We are releasing this package under the Creative Commons License which means that you are free to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon this package, as long as attribution is given to the original creator. Under no circumstances may this package be sold for money, but you are free to update this package if you wish to do so.
We do not offer any support for this scenery. You download, install and use this scenery entirely on your own.
MANUAL INSTALL REQUIRED!
You will be required to manually copy the contents of this ZIP file into your Prepar3D Content Folder where it will add itself to the Prepar3D Scenery Library when you run Prepar3D.
This scenery has been designed for Prepar3D V4, but it will also work on Prepar3D v5 and v6.
