Lanseria Airport (FALA) was conceptualised during 1972 by two Pretoria pilots, Fanie Haacke and Abe Sher when they identified the ideal site for an airport.
Lanseria Airport has seen some many upgrades in the form of a longer and a wider runway, improved terminal, new and a new control tower since then; all of which has been added to this package.
Lanseria Airport is situated almost in the middle between the two largest cities of the Gauteng Province. Lanseria Airport is 32 km (19.8 miles) from the Johannesburg City Centre and 33 km (20.5 miles) from the Pretoria City Centre.

Since we have decided to discontinue development of airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), we are now making this package available to the community. We are releasing this package under the Creative Commons License which means that you are free to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon this package, as long as attribution is given to the original creator. Please install the main scenery file first and then either the FSX-LIBFIXV1.7.5.EXE or the FSX_SE-LIBFIXV1.7.5.EXE depening on the version of Flight Simulator X you have.
The file named FSX-LIBFIXV1.7.5.EXE is meant for the default version of FSX.
The file named FSX_SE-LIBFIXV1.7.5.EXE is meant for the Steam version of FSX.
